From March 29 to April 14 visitors to The Bishop's Palace will have the opportunity to explore the grounds by taking part in the Easter Feast Trail.
Children will have the opportunity to learn about trees that grow edible treats and will also be on the look-out for freshly laid dragon eggs. A chocolate treat will be awarded to all children who take part
Alternatively your group can become Palace and Garden Explorers for the day with an interactive activity pack for all the family to enjoy.
The pack you choose will take you on an explorers guide around the grounds with plenty of activities packed in for all the family.
On Easter Monday April 1 the palace is holding a 'Sow a Sunflower' event giving visitors the chance to join staff in the Community Garden and grow their own sunflower to keep.
Those who take part will have the opportunity to bring their sunflowers back during National Allotment Week in August to see whose has grown that tallest.
Finally on April 7 and 10 the Bishop's Palace is inviting visitors to design their own medieval costume and banner in preparation for their 'A Knight At The Palace' medieval event on May 18.
Helen Garrett, Assistant Visitor Service Manager said: "We've seen some beautiful weather in March before and we're hopeful this Easter will be warm and sunny as we have lots of exciting events for visitors during the holidays."
"The gardens at The Bishop's Palace are bursting into spring bloom and we've all been enjoying a spectacular sight of snowdrops and crocuses.
She added: "By Easter we hope to see banks of daffodils and a carpet of bluebells lining the arboretum floor."
