Wells crash victim rescued from car by emergency teams

Fire crews and police rescued a casualty trapped in a car following an accident in Wells.

The incident occurred at around 10am on Monday (March 18) at the B3135 Whitnell Corner in Wells.

Two fire engines were called as well as a rescue tender from Glastonbury.

Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to free the casualty trapped in the vehicle who was then conveyed to hospital by ambulance.
