Cannabis factory discovered at Oakhill

Police have arrested two people after cannabis was found being grown in an Oakhill house.

Police executed a drugs warrant at an address in The Old Maltings at around 9am on Thursday 29 July. The address was searched and 77 cannabis plants were found at various stages of growth. The plants, and hydroponics equipment, were located in the loft and garage. A man and woman, both aged 45, were arrested on suspicion of production of a controlled drug. They were taken to Wells Police Station and following interview were released on police bail pending further enquiries.
