Does anyone know the date for this year's carnival? The Crown in Wells has it listed as Nov 9th which follows the usual schedule pattern, but I notice from this article on Wikipedia http://tinyurl.com/yaffs69 that it's due to be delayed by a week this year - can anyone confirm whether the info is accurate?

It would seem like the Wiki article might be correct as the official website says: "The carnivals on the Somerset County GFCA circuit will have a change of dates and different order from 2012 as part of a three year trial." (GFCA includes Wells, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet locally & a number of others)
