Police in Wells are appealing for information to identify three people they believe may be able to help them with inquiries into a shoplifting incident.

Cosmetics worth around £1,200 were stolen from the Superdrug store in the city on May 18.

Officers want to talk to a woman pictured on CCTV who was wearing a grey zipped sweat top, get jogging bottoms and trainers. She is around 45 year old, 5ft 4ins tall, of small build, with dark hair put up and a dark complexion.

They also want to trace a white man aged between 45 and 50, wearing glasses, a black leather jacket and dark trousers. He was around 5ft 8ins tall and of smallish build.

Police say they were with a third person, a man, in the store and they all left together.
