Police are appealing for witnesses after two women were intimidated while walking their dogs in Wells.â¨â¨Between 4pm and 5pm on Monday October 24, the women were walking a Doberman dog on the old railway line running behind the leisure centre in Wells. They were approached by a man who picked up the dog and shouted abuse at the women.â¨â¨The women also had abuse shouted at them by the same man while they were walking the dog between 3pm and 3.30pm on Friday October 28, 2011.â¨â¨An investigation is underway and a 44-year-old man has been arrested, interviewed and released on police bail pending further enquiries. â¨â¨Police believe that both of these incidents would have been witnessed by other dog walkers and passers-by.
