Road signs were in place this morning in along the main road in Chewton Mendip (A39) saying the road will be closed from 8am to 5pm from April 4 to 15 for roadworks.

This is going to cause me quite a few delays! I am either driving to or coming from my work during those times, so I guess going via Ston Easton on the A37 is the quickest option?
