We hear from the Met Office that more severe weather is on its way to Wells following last night's heavy battering. It has issued a severe weather warning for the region tonight, which said: "Persistent and at times heavy rain accompanied by gales and locally severe gales, already affecting western parts of northern England and much of Wales, will extend into parts of southwest England during Wednesday night."
