I have spent several weeks investigating the process of hydraulic fracturing. The findings are now in a report. The information obtained was directly from the exploration companies who hold licences in the Mendip region, and from the regulatory bodies.

This information is purely fact, with no scares stories that do nothing but inflame uninformed opinion.

As yet, I can tell you that no planning applications have been made to drill for core samples. One company is preparing a plan for a trial bore in Keynsham. The other company is currently analysing the geological data, but has no plan yet. This is confirmed fact.

I can also tell you about the Mendip regional geology. It can be shown that certain myths being broadcast are nonsense, i.e. 'The Mendip Volcano'.
