Top South West attraction Wookey Hole Caves has gone Easter crazy, having taken delivery of 250,000 Easter Eggs to be given out to visitors over the holidays.

The annual family Easter Egg Competition means children visiting the world famous caves in Wells will be in with the chance of winning a selection of Easter Eggs over the holiday period from 30 March to 13 April.

Wookey Hole Caves general manager Daniel Medley said: "It is always astonishing when a quarter of a million Easter eggs show up on our doorstep ready to be given out over the holidays! It's a chocoholic's dream!

"Easter is always one of our most popular weekends so we like to make it as special as possible. Families love the competition and it's great to see the children so excited to collect the eggs.

"My hardest task now is keeping the staff away from the eggs until Easter!"

Visitors will also be treated to the Wookey Hole Magical Circus Show, which will be performed in the theatre everyday during the Easter holidays. Visitors will be dazzled by the trapeze, silk skills, wire walking and unicycle tricks.

Families can enjoy all the things that make Wookey one of the best-loved attractions in the West. Explore the caves, meet the infamous Witch of Wookey and the walk-around Wizard, wander through the Valley of the dinosaurs and relax in the magical fairy garden.

With over 20 fabulous attractions under one admission price Wookey Hole Caves can guarantee a great day out for all.
