International Women's Day is being marked by the Mid Somerset Oxfam group with an evening of entertainment at Henton Village Hall.
The event takes place on Friday, March 8, from 7.30pm, when Frome entertainer Muriel Lavender will be regaling the audience with her own brand of poetry and humour.
A short presentation on Oxfam's work with women will follow the entertainment.
Tickets cost £12 and include a ploughman's supper and a glass of wine or soft drink.
