Consistently good
Living in Wells but originating from Cornwall it really is fantastic to have such a great seafood restaurant on my doorstep. We have taken our friends and family here on a number of occasions and have never been let down on their service, quality of food and atmosphere. Adam and his team have ensured every time that there is consistency with the goodfellows experience and for that reason we will be coming back again and again for many years to come

Fantastic Quality.
What can i say... If you haven't yet dined at this great restaurant, then you need to! If making a meal out of things is not your choice, then simply pop in and pick up one of their cakes or tartlets... I tell you, you will be grateful that you did!

Delicious
If you're a fan of food then don't miss out on this place - it is absolute Heaven! The fish is always fresh and fleshy and cooked to perfection. The puddings are some of the best I've ever tasted, and just the right size to finish you off without making you feel sluggish. They're friendly and I always feel at home in here, especially after a couple of glasses of something off their decent wine list! xx

Food intolerance friendly!
A big thank you to Goodfellows for their helpful approach to a lactose and garlic intolerant customer. We booked late so I did not have time to give them advance notice of my annoying intolerances but they couldn't have been more helpful. I hate having food intolerances (I am still getting used to having them and hate being 'fussy'). It was wonderful and refreshing to enjoy a meal out without fear of reaction - and what a wonderful meal it was too. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Wonderful restaurant
My friends and I visited here recently for an evening meal on a promotion of '2 courses for £20.' Chef Adam Fellows produced for us a fabulous cassoulet, a lovely fish dish and another wonderful vegetarian creation. The puddings were also sumptuous and the wine list was also very good. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere downstairs and service was very good indeed. I suggest you book yourselves a table for as soon as possible!
