Uni is worth it once you get on to the campus

Most young people around the country received their A-Levels results after what seemed like an eternity. At least their exams are done and dusted.
A lot have decided to go straight into work rather than go to university or other education-based courses, which is fair enough and good luck.
But those going to university will find it tougher this year than the years before. Unfortunately, places will be reduced and it doesn’t look like tuition fees are going to stop rising either.
Obviously there are many organisations that can help and give advice. But picking a uni/sorting out accommodation, etc, can be stressful so just remain calm.
Once you get there, uni life is pretty good. You get to meet new people who will become your friends, live away from your parents, start managing your own life, and in your first week a Fresher’s Fair will be there for you to make you feel at home (and you get freebies). After you get past the initial shock, you’ll find that uni isn’t bad, and rather it’s there for you to enjoy.
Sure, you’ll get loads of work and deadlines to keep to, which most people (including me) leave until too late, but believe me, there’s a lot of visiting the pubs that make up for it.
