Today I was in a bit of a hurry looking for an item so I decided to trying phoning the Boots store direct to ask them if they stocked it. Looking at their website I expected to find a central customer services number (as the commonly preferred method for most stores these days), but no, I was able to contact the Wells store direct and spoke to an assistant who was happy to check the shelves for me. Excellent old-fashioned customer service, the way it should be.

Last week I had the best service I have probably ever had in a chemists. I was getting some discomfort in my tummy so went to speak to someone, and the lady on the medicines counter was just lovely. So much more than just 'what do you want' and then providing me with it (or not as I have found in Shepton!).
Really nice, and I was so taken aback I forgot to read her name badge. Im going to pop back in at the weekend though, as boots do this sort of online survey thing and she deserves recognition for the way she treated me.
The store should be proud of itself!
